Guest guest
SFVS had a fabulous dinner last sunday for our volunteers it was small turnout cause a lot of people were at the Green Festival all day. It was the best food I've ever had. A Thai restaurant Tassana in SF brought 4 items, Dixie and Stan brought 4 things, JC brought 4 items, Sharon brought at least 3 items. The winning potluck dish was JC's stuffed tomatoe. He made the recipe a bit more spicy. JC won a Now and Zen rasberry chocolate cake. I also like JC's raw vegan Ceasar salad dressing. It too was modify to taste SO much like Cesear salad. He even had " parmesan cheese " to go with it. The 2nd prize was a tofu loaf, which also can be served at a restaurant. THe gentleman won a Now and Zen unturkey. 3rd prize was Sharon's Kashi dish. She won a book. Sorry, many folks can't make it but it was a great potluck. We expect 40 people to show up but 12 lucky people had a feast made for a king/queen. sorry if some folks did not know about the event. We were swamped and tried to make sure everyone knew about it. see everyone at future events... www.sfvs.org -- shhhh, this sat's 10 course dinner for $14 at Hulu will be GREAT, I'm guessing 30 people will be there. I can't make it. I eat there all the time anyway. I heard their spring rolls (not fried) is better than Golden Era. You'll be the judge of that. www.sfvs.org for more info www.vegdining.com Web Hosting - Let the expert host your site http://webhosting.
