Vegan Baby

I've never officially posted an introduction, so I'm going to take

this opportunity since I have a personal announcement.

 

On Halloween I gave birth to a baby girl!

 

Here's the relevance to this group - she's vegan made. Yes, there

were times when I psychotically craved Big Macs while in the first

trimester - but I also craved bicycle tire rubber. Perhaps there's a

common ingredient.

One of my goals for this baby came to me after watching John Robbins

speak at World Veg Day: My goals is not necessarily to force her on a

vegan diet until she's an adult. My goal is to keep her from being

next in line as a lifetime consumer of fast food and junk food (as

McDonalds would have her be, for example).

 

(And providing her with awesome vegan food and a connection with

compassion for animals for as long as I can is my commitment.)
