Oakland Tribune Article -- Turkey-Free Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone,

Jennifer Carnig, staff writer for the lifestyle section of the Oakland Tribune,

interviewed me last week for a feature she's doing on having a satisfying

turkey-free Thanksgiving! We cooked a few dishes -- specifically the

Harvest-Stuffed Acorn Squash and the Pumpkin Pie I featured for our November

Cooking Class -- and spoke for about 2.5 hours. I think it's going to be a good

article, but I can't make any guarantees.

Look for the article in this Wednesday's Oakland Tribune. I don't know if it

will be online, so I encourage you to buy an actual paper if you're interested

in reading the article (and sending it to your friends and family members who

are on the fence about leaving out the turkey this year!). And please be kind --

I have no say in what photos they actually use, and I may very well look

ridiculous!
