Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, November 22, there will be what promises

to be a very exciting and interesting event -- Fashion Victims: Women, Animals &

Fur -- at the Women's Building in SF. Please read on for further details on

this event AND on fur-free Friday. Hope you all can come!

 

 

 

 

November is Fur-Free Month in San Francisco

Shun the cruelty involved in fur coats and fur trim. Just put on your

compassionate fashion sense and please join us.

Fashion Victims: Women,

Animals & Fur

 

The Women's Building - 3543 18th Street, SF (1 block west of Valencia - Look

for the beautiful 4-story mural) Tickets at the door.

Suggested $5-$20 donation, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

 

Presenting a night of music, performance, video, and art expressing the

similar ways women and animals are made victims by today's consumer society,

specifically to provoke thought and dialogue about the unnecessary use of animal

fur for fashion.

 

Special presentation by Green Party Supervisor Matt Gonzalez, District 5 &

Marti Kheel, Ph.D, co-Founder of Feminist for Animal Rights - Powerful

performance by Dhaiatribe - The first SF screening of " Cull of the Wild: The

Truth Behind Trapping " - Amazing artwork by Bay-Area & Sacramento artists - food

& more
