Guest guest
Just some thoughts I had and would like to share/get feed back Thanks Giving I'm not too well versed in religion but I understand thanksgiving to be a " thank you " to lord for our well-being, as we are all the lords creatures. I'm not religious and do not believe in god but I keep thinking that turkeys are the lords creatures too. Is religion and godliness only for humans and all other creatures' lives are disposable? Fur Many people protest fur because of the barbaric ways they catch these poor CUTE animals, yet at the same time, they're wearing leather belts, shoes and jackets, and are eating flesh. Do we subject animal life to our version of how cute they are? A cow goes through much pain during it's whole 'curing' before it's slaughtered. Strict Vegans With the fear that some of you have of accidentally having a tiny amount of dairy in your veggie burger must come alot of stress and responsibility. I imagine that you hate the idea of driving a car which kills thousands of bugs every year. You do keep your driving to a minimum and drive small cars very slowly so the aerodynamics will help flow the bugs over the car as to not be squashed right? Perhaps they are smaller and more insignificant, but so is that tiny bit of dairy used in food occasionally. What about the gasoline used, the abount of oil spilled annually kills very many mammals. These are just thoughts I have, keeping it real. I've been a veggie for 28 yrs (no meat, fish, eggs) and always read ingredients but that's as far as I go. I have helped many people become veggie in my years by showing a way of life and physical health/resilience as well as the tastiness of simple dishes with great seasonings. Be well. -daniel
