Guest guest
Lucky creation sells a few dim sum. Fake Sausage, fake meat made from gulten (oily), and a few others, not much. (it's not dim sum, but their fried SOFT tofu can be used an appetizer) Yang Sing in SF, is full of MSG and very pricey. I admit the place is clean and classy, but it'll cost you twice as much as " local " dim sum places. I had their vegetarian steamed dumplings, not only it was full of MSG but costs MORE than the meat dumplings (fuming**) They have premade chow mein, again, if was full of MSG. Lu Lai Garden in Milpitas stopped making Dim Sum 4 years ago. Due to high cost of labor, it wasn't worth it for them to make it any longer. The restaurant is still around, serving OVER 160 vegan dishes SFBAVeg, Kim Flournoy <kim@w...> wrote: > I think Lucky Creation might serve dim sum (854 Washington Street). > > Also, Yank Sing in the Rincon Center used to serve vegetarian dim sum, I'm > not sure if they still do. 101 Spear Street near the Embarcadero. > > > > FYI, there's a place in Milpitas: Lu Lai Garden > http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/10.16.97/veggie-9742.html > > > > On Mon, 25 Nov 2002 Femmefreud@a... wrote: > > > Hey all, my housemate overheard somebody talking about a great place to get > > vegetarian dim sum and asked me if I knew where this place might be.
