Guest guest
Hi all, McDonald's posting a loss is a good example of a topic that veg*ns may be interested in discussing even though it is not veg*n or AR related. That's why we have in the new online forum a category for " General Discussions and Debate " . You can reach the new online forum at: http://www.generationv.org/forum Please note - the online forum is a separate entity from , and you'll need to register before posting. Since we are running it on our own server, there are no ads and it's really simple to post. Guest guest
I felt that McDonald's posting a loss for the first time in 47 years was veg*n AND AR related. McDonald's is one of the biggest killers of animals. McDonald's posting a loss tells me that there are opportunities, opportunities for those of us that believe in a world where the masses will eat veg*n options if they are there. Perhaps McDonald's posting a loss is a sign that consumers want more than just what's out there now. SFBAVeg , " govegan@g... Personally, I would always encourage folks to preface reposting items of information that (on the surface) do not appear to be veggie/AR related as to why they are related. As folks arrive at veg*nism for different reasons, or have different levels of knowledge, it is helpful to include a few explanatory sentences to set your message in the right context. (As recently posted, thanks carmella) http://www.vegsource.com/articles2/mcdonalds_lawsuit.htm is a very interesting article.... By Jeff Nelson of vegsource: " What most vegetarians don't know is that the settlement is more offensive than McDonald's original deception of its vegetarian customers -- because McDonald's is attempting to steer millions of dollars of the settlement monies to animal researchers and anti-vegetarian organizations by simply calling them " vegetarian organizations. " Cheers, Tammy
