Guest guest
Hi all, I just had a thought for the local leafletting activities -- if you come across really receptive folks who need an alternative to a Honey Baked Ham, perhaps it would be good to have a recipe to hand them instead. There are also many other sites out there with really good recipes, and I'm sure many of you have your favorite recipes too.... I would happily recommend the Harvest Stuffed Acorn Squash that Colleen featured in her Thanksgiving class. I have made it and it's easy to make and delicious, too. There's a picture of it here: http://www.generationv.org/compassionatecooks.htm And the recipe is here: http://www.generationv.org/class_0211.htm Anyways, just a suggestion for your consideration. As I haven't seen the materials that are being distributed, maybe this is already covered there. I hope to make one of the demos.. I will have to see which one is easier for me to get to, Belmont or SF.. or it may be who needs people the most?? (Lyman, have you gotten a big response? I know there a lot of activists in the SF area...) See y'all there! Cheers, Tammy
