Hi There Everybody,

 

Happy New Year! Sorry for the e-mail that went out previously. It was really

intended for Colleen's eyes only. Fortunatley,

it wasn't really personal, but still a little embarassing.

 

I would like to let you know that if the Southbay EarthSave event is not

convenient for you, in Marin we will be having the

same fabulous speaker on Sunday, January 26th at 5:30 to 8:30.

 

The details are as follows:

 

BLOOD SUGAR REGULATION AND THE FALLACY OF THE HIGH PROTEIN APPROACH WITH RICK

DINA, D.C.

Dr. Dina will speak about regulating blood sugar levels with a high protein

diet. Truth or Myth? What does the latest

research in the scientific literature tell us about this topic? Join us to find

out. Dr. Dina specializes in fasting

supervision, nutrition & lifestyle education. You will gain a clear

understanding of this subject and will know what to do

on a day-to-day basis to maintain optimum health. Dr. Dina will answer your

questions in a fun and informative manner.

 

Sunday Jan. 26 5:30-8:30 San Rafael: Vegetarian Potluck and Lecture

Arrive at 5:30 with your extra special vegetarian/preferably vegan dish to serve

10, your own utensils, a plate and a cup.

Dining begins at 6:15, the presentation at 7:15.

 

The Cost is $2.00 for members/$5.00 for non-members. To join EarthSave, it’s $35

for a standard individual membership/$20

seniors, students and those living lightly/$50 for household.

Saturday, Feb. 22 6:30-8:30 San Rafael: Lecture only/light refreshments served

(no potluck)

The cost is $3.00 for members/$6.00 for non-members

 

Directions: Both events will be held at The Unitarian Church located at 240

Channing Way in San Rafael. Take Hwy. 101, exit

at Freitas Pkwy (approx. 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate bridge/5 minutes

north of the Richmond Bridge). If northbound,

veer to your right then turn left onto the frontage road, Redwood Hwy. If

southbound, turn left, cross the highway, turn

left then go north on Redwood Hwy. Now turn right at the first light onto

Professional Center Pkwy. At the top of the hill,

turn right onto Channing Way. The church is on your left.
