People from Thailand, China, Singapore will be celebrating their New Year's on

 

Feb 1, 2003-Year of the Ram.

 

Come join us for a light dinner at Hulu House, 754 Kirkham St, SF, cross Street

12th Ave. (people don't want heavy dinners after last month's holiday parties)

 

The N Judah stops near by. The N train is a 25 minute bus ride from downtown

SF. #28 stops 8 blocks away.

 

Vegan Menu - with very little oil and no msg

 

#34 Veg Wonton (fried) with noodles and veggies

 

#35 Veg Laksa, spicy Singaporean coconut soup with rice noodles

 

#38 Steamed Veg Sesame Rice Rolls with dipping sauce *NEW ITEM

 

#52 Curry Rice with homemade " fish " and veggies

 

assorted Pickled vegetables, one made with Jichama

 

Brown Rice

 

Hot Jasmine Tea and Iced Green Tea

 

$14 adults and $7.50 children under 12 years old. Children will get " chicken "

nugget and " chicken " drumsteak treats. Adults can order those items separately

ahead of time. (there will be enough food in the regular menu)

 

Optional-Please invite children to come to this event. We can have the children

sit together. Feel free to bring kids that are your neighbors, nieces, nephews,

etc.. We want to teach young people that there are better places to eat than

99cents burgers at McDonalds and Burger King.

 

RSVP by 1/26 12 noon

 

Very last minute cancellations please call Hulu. We plan to eat at 6:15 sharp.

If you are late, we can save you some food. After dinner walk and browse thru

40 restaurants in the Sunset district.

 

Hulu's new pots and pans never touched any meat. This dinner event will be fun.

so, please join us if you're not watching the Superbowl.

 

This is a good chance to form carpools for 2/1 VegFair in Santa Clara Convention

Center.
