3 SF carpools forming, leaving 7:30am, 8:30am, 9am, not finalized

 

1 Sonoma carpool with a total of 3 people interested, time not confirmed

 

1 Marin carpool and I heard a lot of Earth Save Folks are going, unfortunately

my carpooler is leaving Marin 7am and leaving VEGFAIR 6pm.

 

1 East Bay Carpooler, time not confirmed

 

I know a lot of people going, but they are going later and returning early,

PLEASE join our carpools, so far all my carpoolers are going EARLY to volunteer.

so, John Doe, the guy at Nicole's potluck, please sign up for the carpool, even

if you are leaving your home as late as 11am.

Drivers, of course drive safely and make sure your car is in good running

condition

 

Passengers, I suggest (suggestion only), paying for all of the drivers' gas,

bring some vegan snacks to share, a good book to read in case you have to wait

for someone, have an open and laid back attitude, don't wear perfume, wear a

smile and enjoy vegfair. By the way, it's ok to speak up if you feel your

driver is not driving safely. Before carpool, confirm how you want to handle

the payment. Of course, be on time, and share your cell phone number.

 

Your carpoolers might become your new friends.

 

When leaving I suggest wait for your fellow carpoolers at the information booth.

 

If you are stranded in VegFair or wanted to leave later than your driver, you

can take your chances and hold up a sign like " ride SF wanted " while you're in

the info booth area.

 

I know Marin Earth Save and SF Vegetarian Society folks might drop you off close

to your destination.

 

as always, use your adult judgement, and carpool at your own risk.

drive, but would rather be a passenger, please email too.

 

If you can only be a passenger, I will email to list, all the driver's email in

a few days.

 

Let's not waste gas. I find folks who are not selfish single drivers are better

people in general.. like Ms. vegan., whom I car pooled with last year. If she

carpools with you, she'll bring some nice vegan cookies for you.
