Guest guest
Does anyone have a list of animal rescue and/or animal rehabilitation groups in the Bay area that I can keep posted next to my telephone for those occasions upon which I find an injured or lost animal? Not interested in the dog pound! When I lived in Massachusetts, we had a central list of people who would, for example, take in injured birds, rehabilitate them and return them to the wild. We had others who would give foster care to lost dogs or cats until a suitable home could be found. Is there anything of this nature here in the Bay area? Hope so! If not...can we compile such a list and post it on the web somewhere? Thanks! Vid New DSL Internet Access from SBC & http://sbc.
Guest guest
Hi, Vid. In the East Bay, you may wish to consider the Lindsay Wildlife Museum. It has a wildlife hospital staffed by volunteers. More information is available from this URL: http://www.wildlife-museum.org/ BTW, the Museum itself is also a wonderful place to visit.
