Guest guest Posted January 24, 2003 Report Share Posted January 24, 2003 A company that has traditionally made vegan dog treats and cruelty- free dog shampoos and conditioners has just introduced a chicken based " treat " . If you have a chance it would be great to let them know you don't appreciate this. The company is called Cloudstar and you can email them at mail. Their treats are called Buddy Biscuits. Their box has the message " Respect all beings " on it. We wrote them and got back an email saying: " As you may be aware, many of the slaughter houses in the United States are changing their processes in order to be more humane. We have verified with our supplier that they have implemented some if not all of these practices. " This is a pretty hypocritical rationale from a company that is just getting into using animals products while asking people to " respect all beings.
