Guest guest
Hi all, For those of you attending VegFair on Saturday, SFBAVeg is sponsoring a Letter-Writing activity and invites you to participate! The activity is free. We are providing short sample letters as inspiration, and all writing materials. We hope to generate several hundreds of letters to encourage vegetarianism and encourage companies to remove fur & factory farmed duck meat from their stores. Additionally, each letter is an entry into our raffle for some neat prizes! We'll be giving away five prizes every hour. (What's the prize? Why come visit us & find out!) And, your letter entry stays in the pool for all drawings unless you're drawn. So, write early to increase your chances of winning. But the *real* prize in all of this will be in letting our voices be heard for vegetarianism & for the animals! Do the Write Thing and 1) tell CA legislators know we want a veg lunch option in CA schools, 2) letting Whole Foods know that we care if they sell factory farmed duck meat, and 3) let Neiman Marcus know that fur is out of fashion. Offeriring this activity at VegFair is truly a community project... We'd like to thank our supporters for contributions to help pay for this activity, the folks who are donating their time in helping us to staff the table, as well as many who have helped in preparing or collecting the material/information we'll be using at our Letter Writing activity. You know who you are :-) This is a great example of what can be accomplished when we work together! So, take a few minutes and DO THE WRITE THING with SFBAVeg!
