Guest guest
thank you to everyone in the vegetarian community for helping to make the 2003 bay area veg fair a huge success! we could not have done it without your support in helping us promote the fair with posters and by word of mouth, your volunteer efforts the day of the event, and attending the fair with your friends and family. we truly see this as a public outreach event put on by the entire bay area vegetarian community, and each individual DOES make a difference. the future is very bright for the veg fair, and we hope to one day attract tens of thousands of people from all over northern california. and please remember that there are eight key individuals who have worked an endless amount of hours to organize this event. they are: Patti Breitman (cooking demonstrations) Joseph Connelly (speakers, sponsors, & pre-event dinners) Marci Hayden (volunteers) Colleen Holland (publicity & marketing) Stan King (publicity) Cheri Larsh (website & print design) Patricia Lynch (exhibitors, budget & logistics) Ron Schmidt (publicity) we hope your volunteer, attendee, speaker, or exhibitor experience was fulfilling and enjoyable! most sincerely, colleen holland vf committee member 2003 p.s. and a special thank you to tammy and chris of SFBAVEG for starting/facilitating this wonderful online community through which we have been able to share all the latest veg fair news! .. . . . . . . . . We are indeed fortunate to have such a dedicated group of volunteers within the bay area veg*n community. Also want to thank everyone who stopped by our (SFBAVeg) letter writing booth and " did the write thing " with us. We enjoyed meeting many of you, and collecting a stack of letters for veggie lunch option in the CA school lunch program, telling Whole Foods to stop selling factory farmed duck meat and telling Neiman Marcus to stop selling fur. Just for fun, I've created a poll to see how many SFBAVeg'ers went. Sorry that you got it twice, I goofed on the first one. To vote, you'll need a ID and you'll need to go to the polls section. Once you vote, you can see how everyone else voted. SFBAVeg/polls Cheers, Tammy
