Apology to SFBAVEG, re:East Bay Veg*n & Howard

For a few months I was posting messages here for East Bay Veg*n, a potluck

group coordinated by Howard. I stated here that I was doing this because Howard

was banned from , and that in effect, ebveg was excluded because of

this, and so I was forwarding the messages. I said that Howard was banned because

that's what he told me when I suggested he spread the word about the group via

. I've now come to understand that it's not true. He's not banned, and is

choosing not to post on this site himself, but was happy to have me do it for

him. There's all kinds of bad history here that I was uninformed of, and it

seems that I've added to it; unintentional, but still not a good thing.

So as a matter of integrity I would like to apologize to Tammy,Chris & the

community for any confusion that I've created, and for re-opening old

wounds for some people. Howard is not banned. I've certainly not been banned for

forwarding his messages. Tammy has been welcoming and courteous, and others have

been helpful in clarifying matters.

So I won't be posting notice of the East Bay Veg*n events anymore. Hopefully,in

the future, all this can be healed and worked out somehow. I'm sure that that

people who believe in kindness toward animals can be kind to each other as well.

I look forward to seeing some of you at one potluck or another.

Peace, Jordan.

Hi Jordan

Thank you for the apology and clarifying matters. I'm really sorry you

got caught in the middle of this.

As Tammy and I have said before, everyone is welcome to join and post to

SFBAVeg as long as they abide by the charter.

I would encourage people to continue posting the East Bay Veg*n events

to the list as they're a valuable resource to the community.

Take care

Chris
