Guest guest
Hi all, With a few exceptions, I think nearly everyone in SFBAVeg is a local, Bay Area person. And that's really the primary reason why SFBAVeg was started -- for local veg*n/AR folks to connect, communicate, & find support. The strength of our list is that its focused on veg/AR topics, and its local. Therefore, I would respectfully request that everyone please keep this in mind when forwarding or reposting news articles, alerts, etc. to this list. We're not a national group, we're not an international group, we're a local group. Folks join SFBAVeg because its a local group / local community. As we grow in membership size, message volume will naturally increase. But we can all help by keeping the " noise " off the list. If you're not familiar with e-mail discussion lists, I thought this a good primer on courteous list practices (from Adam Engst's TidBITS publication): http://db.tidbits.com/getbits.acgi?tbart=05386 Thanks for your support!
