You'll meet over 5 doz vegans, you've never bumped into before. the people are very nice. Just want to be prepared to see a lot of blue hair and nose-ring people. The Hairy Eye Ball: A Pre-Mardi Gras Costume Dance to benefit East Bay Food Not Bombs (Provides Free Vegetarian Meals to needy people in SF Bay Region) featuring live music by Muffuletta, Funky Nixons, and the Wild Buds: West Coast Mardi Gras Band presented by the One True Church of the Great Green Frog (berkeleymardigras.org) Cost: $6 – suggested donation for the music & the hall (no one will be turned away for lack of funds).
