Guest guest Posted February 20, 2003 Report Share Posted February 20, 2003 I am thinking of organizing some weekly life drawing sessions in my Oakland/Emeryville loft that include a light vegetarian pot luck every week or so for a small group of like minded artists. I have advertised on Craig's list for models and will probably charge a very minimal fee per person...not for profit, but to simply pay the hard working models on a donation basis. We would eat at around 6:30 and draw from 7-9 p.m.. I would like to incorporate my art work more towards helping animal rights causes. This is an opportunity for other vegetarians who are interested in doing this sort of thing to meet, talk about what's going on in the art world re: animal rights and to practice life drawing skills. This whole concept is very flexible adn is sitll on the drawing board, (heh heh) so if any of you are interested, yet have suggestions for a better way of doing it, please let me know.
