Guest guest
ALERT The Coating Layer on paper plates and paper glasses may be from animal fat Paper for paper plates are made from cellulose, wood oils and resins(synthetic material) which are from Halal source such as trees. A barrier or coating layer helps keep plates from leaking or soggy. But this coating layer is made with polyethylene(synthetic material from petroleum source) and fat waxes. Fat waxes may be obtained from animal fat including pork. Dixie’s paper plates are made with Soak Proof Shield ® which is made with polyethylene and candle wax. Dixie’s products are kosher certified and Halal. Some paper plates are made with recycle papers which may be obtained from books in which animal glue (including pork) was used. Please watch for Halal or Kosher certified paper plates and paper glasses and you'll be ok. Vid Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.
