We educate, inspire and empower people to shift toward a plant-based diet and to take compassionate action for all life on Earth. " March 4, 2003 (Tuesday) 6:30-9PM EarthSave (Bay Area Chapter)monthly Dinner and Lecture on " OPTIMUM VEGETARIAN NUTRITION " in Palo Alto. All are welcome at EarthSave's delicious monthly vegetarian/vegan buffet dinner and program. " OPTIMUM VEGETARIAN NUTRITION " will be presented by MICHAEL GREGER, M.D. a nationally recognized speaker on public health issues. He debated the National Cattlemen's Beef Association director before the Food and Drug Administration and was an expert witness in Oprah Winfrey's infamous " meat defamation trial. " His talks are entertaining and well-researched. The dinner begins at 6:30 PM at The BayLeaf Cafe, 520 Ramona Street, Palo Alto. Advance registrations are required for dinner.
