Guest guest
In April Michael Harleman will be conducting a 4-week introduction to nutrition, cleansing, and " biological terrain management " class. Michael Harleman is currently completing his master's degree in live food nutrition and he has studied with Gabriel Cousens, David Wolfe, Steve Denk, and others. He is also a yoga teacher, and he is finishing his studies at the Piedmont Yoga Studio in Oakland, CA. Michael is also going to be practicing as a health educator and wellness advisor. He has studied live blood cell analysis and will be utilizing various tools to help people assess their current level of health and get an overall picture of their biological terrain, pH, health of their blood, organs, toxicity level, heavy metal toxicity, and other factors. He is very excited about being able to offer people concrete measurement tools to chart progress and correct imbalances. It helps take the guesswork out of a lot of things and really see what isn't working, what is working, and what your current level of health is. The lecture course will be four sessions, one session per week for four weeks. We will meet every Monday night from 6:00PM-8:30PM. There will also be a light meal served. The meal will be from 6:00PM-6:30PM and the seminar will be from 6:30PM-8:30PM. The class size is limited to 12 people. It will be held at 222 20th Ave. at California. The course will cover the following concepts: -the core concepts behind live food nutrition. what are life foods and what aren't. -sourcing out foods. the best places to source out foods -managing your biological terrain, including pH, electrolyte balance, hydration, and enzyme activity -cleansing: liver/gall bladder, intestine, parasite, blood/lymph -supplementing: different theories; science behind different products -individual typing: eating for your constitution and your environment -new trends in the field This course is basically being designed for any level of student because we will be going over concepts that are new to most people. The science of balancing your biological terrain, hydration, and zeta potential are the key precepts behind any successful diet. If you do this, you will be healthy. The cost of the class is $100 and that includes the light meal with each class. There will also be readings that Michael will suggest, and one book in particular will be utilized the most: How You Rot and Rust by Steve Denk. Michael has looked hard and long and read all the major books by health care practitioners. This book is amazing and it has been written by a gentlemen who teaches live blood cell analysis and biological terrain management. It is not available at any bookstore because it is self-published and usually only available if you take the live-blood-cell practitioner course. However, we will have the opportunity to use it for this course! Please, if you are interested in takign the course, a deposit is needed to reserve space. Please call Michael at 415-668-1616 if you have any questions. Or e-mail him at michaelharleman.
