Guest guest Posted March 5, 2003 Report Share Posted March 5, 2003 According to a friend who was on the Girl Scout National Council (don't ask), there are two companies who produce the cookies that girl scouts across America sell. Different troups order from one or the other of the companies based on regional availibility, etc. ONE of these companies produces some vegan cookies (notably " Thin Mints " - -yum!), the other does not (they all have small amounts of whey). I don't remember the name of the companies, but i'm sure someone could do some research if she was really interested, and maybe even advocate local troups to carry the vegan cookies.
