The more generalized and cluttered a list becomes, the less helpful it tends to be. I'm very busy with anti-war, family, work, and other activities near and dear to my heart. Consequently, the more specialized a list, the more valuable it is in my life. If you desire a news posting service, I suggest you create your own rather than impose on Tammy and Chris's vision. It's unfair and inconsiderate to ask them to host and administrate a list not of their own choosing. After all, they're the ones generously donating their time and effort to make it happen for the rest of us! BTW, my friend Bill Morrison originally turned me on to this list. But I sometimes feel a bit weighed down by the immense number of posts. As a consequence, I value the guidelines Chris and Tammy set up. I appreciate everyone's efforts to inform folks about animal issues. That is to be commended, and it sounds as if Rose is launching a separate news list - which is wonderful.
