Guest guest
Why do we feel the need to impose our will/lifestyle on animals and other species? like Cats, dogs etc. Isn't it Human-centric to impose our lifestyle on other sentient beings? and also interfering w/ life cycle balance? (On a case by case basis, i can *acknowledge* there may be reasons for keeping a cat/dog etc Vegetarian/Vegan- as explained to me by another Veg group member eg- Cat/Dog was saved from euthanization- so by NOT feeding them animal food-the owner was sort-of-not-upsetting the balance of nature!!!) --- BTW_ This Q is partly posed to be educated on reasons etc for above- so prefer intelligent answers rather than long posts/rantings- and/or long-winded editorials.(:-)) Thanks Sam SFBAVeg , Caity McCardell <caity@S...> wrote: > Hi, > I bought a lot of vegan cat food and my cats won't eat it. Guest guest
Sam, I think many people want to have their companion animals eat vegan as much as possible in order to contribute to as little suffering of other animals as possible. Caity, From what I hear, cats that are raised vegan from weaning are much more successful than cats whose diets are changed once adults. I'm sure many other people on this list have experiences to share (maybe someone should sart a thread at the SFBAVeg bulletin board).
