Dear friends of the animals,

This week, the National Wildlife Refuge System

is celebrating its

centennial with activities at refuges across the

country. The Fund for

Animals is organizing nationwide demonstrations

at key events across

the country, asking that the refuges be restored

to their original

mission - to protect wildlife from hunting and

trapping. Freedom for

Animals, a California-based animal protection

group, will be holding a

demonstration on Friday, March 14 to coincide

with the centennial event

in Fremont, CA.

Animal advocates and concerned citizens are

encouraged to attend this

demonstration, where signs and leaflets will be

provided. Please see

the details below, and feel free to contact

Freedom for Animals by

calling 415-756-4233, or emailing

info if you have

any questions for need further information.
