Guest guest
This month the Dairy Council of California, with its Mobile Dairy Classroom program, is bringing a live cow to elementary schools in SF and Laguna Salada in order to " teach students how the food they eat and drink gets from the farm to the dinner table. " (according to their press release). For Mobile Dairy Classroom dates and locations call Angie Pietrolungo at 619-296-0605 x 234 Perhaps it would be helpful to contact the teachers or principals who are allowing these people into their schools and respectfully tell them the other side of the story. dairycouncilofca.org
Guest guest
This is extremely disturbing to me. I know kids are lied to constantly about food choices and origins, but this is too much. I'm out of commission for the rest of the month (I'm getting hitched at the end of March!), but I could do some phone/email work on this. In April, I'd be more than happy to pursue some more direct action.
