Guest guest
http://www.grizzlypeakcyclists.org/century/ VOLUNTEER or ride one of the Best Centuries in the Bay Area. This ride is for bicyclists who love to ride Berkeley hills. After the ride, you'll be treated to one of the best food around. Some of the food, like the salad are recipes from a Culinary Academy Chef (5 vegan salads). I have the recipes in my hand and verified the following recipes are vegan: Tabouli, Roast Potatoes,Jeweled Rice Salad,Chinese Cabbage Salad and Fruit Salad. Grilled Vegetables (vegan but grilled on a clean rented grill). The Grilled vegetable is in charged by 2 veggie folks. There will be plenty of homemade cookies and bread, but they have eggs in them. (maybe milk) If you don't want to ride, you can volunteer the day BEFORE, Sat, May 3 to make the salad (great way to learn) or volunteer at the day of the event. I plan to volunteer the day of the ride, 6am registration and help with the huge lunch buffet. If you want to volunteer or have more questions call Deb 510-234-6736 or debob http://www.grizzlypeakcyclists.org I spent a lot of time doing research for all to expose one of the few events that are vegans/vegetarians friendly, I hope to see you all there! There will be 200+ people there. Mary Allen and 5 other vegetarians will be there for sure.
