Hi All,

I wanted to announce a Vegetarian Fest, a part of the Great American

Meatout, will be held at my church - the First Unitarian Universalist

Society of San Francisco - on Saturday April 5. This is our church's first

such venture, and I welcome your support and attendance! Admission is free.

Dr. John McDougall, Michele Simon of the Center for Informed Food Choices,

and Nutritionist and Vegan Outreach President Jack Norris will be speaking.

Here are some details:

Vegetarian Fest: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday April 5 at the First Unitarian

Universalist Society of San Francisco. Featuring discussion by nationally

known physician and speaker Dr. John McDougall, and talks by Michele Simon,

founder of the Center for Informed Food Choices, and nutritionist and Vegan

Outreach President Jack Norris.

Free food samples, a cooking demonstration and children’s games are among

the activities at this free event.

The festival, part of the national Great American Meatout, is sponsored by

the San Francisco chapter of the Unitarian Universalists for the Ethical

Treatment of Animals.

The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist church at 1187 Franklin

Street in San Francisco.
