Saturday, March 22nd:

 

Kentucky Friend " Cruelty " Demonstration: 12 noon - 2:00 pm

4150 Geary Blvd., SF

Join us in asking KFC to adopt more humane animal welfare standards

as part of PETA's international campaign. We will be setting up a

table with important information on the benefits of a plant-based

diet, and showing video footage of how KFC suppliers treat animals.

 

Bay Area Letter Writing Day:

Pacifica, 2-5 pm, RSVP to Caity, caity

Oakland (Ashby/Telegraph), 2-5 pm, RSVP to Polly & Lindsay,

pstrand

San Francisco (Haight), 4-7 pm, RSVP to Nora, norakramer

Join us to write letters in a supportive, friendly environment, and

meet others who share your compassion for animals. Participants

should bring their own letter writing supplies (pen, paper,

envelopes, stamps) and optionally a vegan snack or food item to

share. You are welcome to bring alerts with you, too!! If you have

extra stationary supplies, that might be helpful to bring to share,

as well. *** Let's write those letters for the animals! ***

 

Sunday, March 23rd:

 

Vegan Ice Cream Feed-in: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

in front of Ben & Jerry's, 1480 Haight St., SF

Distribute delicious, dairy-free and cruelty-free samples of vegan

ice

cream to the hungry, lunch time crowd. We will also be setting up a

table with information on the benefits of a vegan lifestyle, and

showing video footage of how dairy cows are treated.

 

Neiman " Carcass " Demonstration: 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Neiman Marcus Union Square, 150 Stockton St. @ Geary, SF

Join us as we educate Neiman Marcus shoppers about the horrors behind

the cruel and unnecessary fur industry. Signs & literature will be

provided.
