What: Vegetarian Fest Where: First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco, 1187 Franklin Street, at the corner of Geary When: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday April 5 Admission: FREE!! The First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco is hosting its first Vegetarian Fest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday April 5. Admission is FREE! We'd love you to come support this new effort. Dr. John McDougall will speak on Healthier Living. Michele Simon, founder of the Center for Informed Food Choices, will speak on " The Politics of Nutrition " and Jack Norris, Vegan Outreach president and a nutritionist, will talk about veg nutrition. Groups such as EarthSave will be tabling, and we will have free food samples, as well as a gourmet vegan lunch for sale. The event is sponsored by the San Francisco Chapter of the Unitarian Universalists for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and is a part of the Great American Meatout.
