Boycott Foreign Oil

It has been said before, that if only 10% of Americans became vegan,

that would be all it takes to wean us off foriegn oil.

 

Think about it. Be patriotic. Be vegan.

 

We need to get this message out.

do you have any sources for how that could be calculated? the majority

of oil in america is used for transportation, according to department

of energy stats. how would a 10% switch to veganism translate to the

reductions in energy use equivalent to the quantity of oil we import?

 

i would be interested to spread that meme, if there were supporting

evidence i could cite. if you can provide any, that would be

appreciated.
