Hello,

On the subject of the Rafael Film Festival post: my former housemate made a

documentary about genetically modified foods, and there are several screenings

coming up (two in the Bay Area). Here's the info:

There's a war going on but we still have to eat!

Wholesome Goodness Productions presents: Fed Up! Genetic Engineering, Industrial

Agriculture and Sustainable Alternatives a one hour documentary

About 70% of the food we eat contains genetically modified ingredients and the

biotech industry is spending $50 million a year to convince us that this

technology is our only hope. Using hilarious and disturbing archival footage and

featuring interviews with farmers, scientists, government officials and

activists, FED UP! presents an entertaining and compelling overview of our

current food production system from the Green Revolution to the Biotech

Revolution and what we can do about it.
