Why: To inform baseball fans of the cruelty-free & healthy food options available at Pac Bell Park! ***Any questions*** Contact Christine Morrissey at (925) 487-4419 or empress_bean. ------ How to get to Pacific Bell Park How to get to Pacific Bell Park on public transit In San Francisco Take the Muni Metro N line/inbound (or specially marked Metro trains on game days) directly to the ballpark - the Second and King Muni Metro station is right next to the ballpark. Muni buses 10, 15, 30, 45 and 47 also stop within one block of the ballpark. From the Peninsula and the South Bay - San Mateo and Santa Clara Take Caltrain from stations throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties directly to the ballpark - the Fourth and King Street Station is one block from the ballpark*. Or take BART from Colma or Daly City to downtown San Francisco. Then walk or transfer to Muni Metro to the ballpark (transfer from BART to MUNI N-Line at Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery or Embarcadero). BART service from Milbrae, SFO, San Bruno and South San Francisco will also be available midway through the 2003 season. *Please be advised that Caltrain Express Bus Service replaces rail service on Saturdays and Sundays during 2003 season due to construction. From the East Bay - Alameda and Contra Costa Take BART to Embarcadero or Montgomery Stations and walk or transfer to Muni Metro (N-Line/inbound or specially marked ballpark trains). The Alameda/Oakland Ferry Service provides direct service to the ballpark for most games and service to the Ferry Building at other times. AC Transit also provides bus service from many East Bay cities to the Transbay Terminal, a short walk to the ballpark. From the North Bay - Marin and Sonoma Take Golden Gate Transit's Larkspur Ferry to the ballpark - direct service is available for all games. From Napa and Solano For day games, take Vallejo Ferry to the Ferry Building and walk or take Muni Metro to the ballpark. On Friday nights, return BayLink ferry service to Vallejo will be available from the China Basin Ferry Terminal at the ballpark (service starts April 11th). You can also take Vallejo BARTLink to El Cerrito del Norte BART, ride BART to the Embarcadero or Montgomery St. stations and walk or take Muni Metro to the ballpark. From Vacaville or Fairfield, take Fairfield-Suisun Transit to the Pleasant Hill BART station and ride BART to the Embarcadero or Montgomery St. stations. 2003 Transit Advisory Vallejo Ferry Service Vallejo BayLink wil provide return ferry service from China Basin Ferry Terminal after all Friday night games (starting April 11th). Caltrain Express Bus Service replaces rail service on Saturdays and Sundays during 2003 season due to construction. Express Bus routes run express to South San Francisco, Hillsdale and Mt. How to get to Pacific Bell Park by car From the Peninsula/South Bay Take 1-280 north (or I-101 north to I-280 north) to the Mariposa Street exit. Turn right on Mariposa Street, then left on Third Street to get to the parking lots. From the East Bay Take I-80/Bay Bridge to the Fifth Street exit. Exit onto Harrison Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and continue onto I-280 South. Take first exit at 18th Street and turn left onto 18th Street. Continue over freeway on 18th and turn left onto 3rd Street. Continue on 3rd Street to the parking lots. From the North Bay Take Highway 101 south/Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina Blvd. exit. Continue on Marina Blvd. past Fort Mason and turn left onto Bay Street. Continue on Bay and turn right onto the Embarcadero. Continue on the Embarcadero under the Bay Bridge until it turns into King Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street (the ballpark is on your right) and continue across the bridge to the parking lots. These directions provide the most direct routes to the Giants' parking lots, but other city streets and freeway exits also provide alternate routes that fans are encouraged to use to avoid congestion. Please call 511 for real-time traffic conditions. 2003 Traffic Advisory The 4th Street Bridge will be closed for the entire 2003 Season. The following detour is the suggested alternative route during the 4th Street Bridge closure. Take I-280 South (enter from southbound 6th Street or westbound King Street) and exit at 18th Street. Turn right onto 18th Street and turn left onto 3rd Street. Take 3rd Street to the ballpark ballpark parking lots. A service truck will be located in the Giants Parking Lots for up to one hour before the game and immediately following the seventh inning for up to an hour after the game. AAA's mobile phone number is 415.726.9073. Bicycle Parking The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition will continue to operate a secure Bike Parking Facility at Pacific Bell Park in 2003.
