The fest includes: A 1 p.m talk by Michele Simon, founder of the Center for Informed Food Choices A 2 p.m. talk by nationally known speaker Dr. John McDougall. A 3 p.m. talk by Vegan Outreach president and registered dietition Jack Norris Two cooking demos, at 12:30 and 3, by Compassionate Cooks A $7 gourmet vegan lunch served from noon to 2 p.m. Information tables from EarthSave, San Francisco Vegetarian Society, Freedom for Animals, Animal Place, VegNews and many more.
