Springtime Herbs & Foods

for

Health & Celebration!

Cooking & Eating With The Earth In Mind!

Afternoon Workshop: Saturday April 12

2:30-6:30

Celebrate Spring the season of fertility, love & new beginnings,

with simple, healthy, delicious meals & herbal tonics that will

nourish yourself, and the planet as well!

Drawing on mythology and the 5 elements as a seasonal,

ecological and celebratory approach to health, we will cover 13

(sacred number to Fria, the Goddess of Love) herbs and a

variety of whole foods, emphasizing their culinary and symbolic

uses that both honor the earth, and support us physically and

energetically in the Springtime. Wonderful handouts will be

given to take home.

We will prepare and enjoy celebratory herbal infusions and a

meal of seasonal selected grains, roots and greens with herb

seasonings, a delicious herbal soup of Spring vegetables &

legumes, a wonderful salad of fresh Springtime herbs, brown

bread and elderberry honey wine.
