Guest guest
Two dogs need homes and loving guardians. If anyone can help, please contact Cybrena directly (her email and phone number are below.) As it stands, her friend has already taken them down to the pound so they probably need a home quickly. Their names are Gypsy and Shunka, named after two amazing forest defenders, one who gave his life to help save the ancient redwoods of California and the other who has devoted his life to this mission. Here is their story: A year and a half ago my friend Joe and his daughter found 2 six month old puppies running around in the street and took them home, where I lived as well. We found the guardian and she asked us on the phone if we wanted to keep them, we said no because we already had 2 puppies. She reluctantly said she would come and pick them up but she never showed up and despite all the messages we left for her, we never heard from her again. A year ago I moved out and Joe has been caring for them ever since. Now they are in need of new homes because Joe cannot adequately care for them any longer. I had planned on taking them and either keeping them or over time finding new homes for them. However my landlord said we cannot have dogs here. Joe has decided that he is going to take them to the pound so I am sending out an email to all of you in hopes of finding someone to adopt them or at least finding a foster home while I can work on finding homes for them. If you are looking to adopt a dog, know someone who is or could provide a foster home for one or both of them while I can search for a permanent home, please get in touch with me (my info is below). Although Joe can no longer care for them, he is willing to help care for them financially for the rest of their lives. Shunka is very devoted and sweet and has a beautiful depth to her. She is very obedient, present and responsive, she is the kind of dog that keeps an eye on you while you are walking with her and would be a good watch dog. Gypsy is playful, fun and more submissive than Shunka. She is always wagging her tail with a happy smile on her face. She likes to have her belly rubbed. Where Shunka might bark at a stranger coming into her home, Gypsy would probably back away. Both Gypsy and Shunka have been raised in a house of 5 young children so they are really good with kids and are very gentle. Both are somewhat apprehensive of new people at first but I think that is in part because they don't get out a lot very much and spend most of their time in a backyard. Both are beautiful dogs with tan and brown coats. Gypsy is fatter and fluffier and Shunka is thinner and her coat is not so fluffy. They need a home where they are not left in a back yard all day which is the case for them now. They are very sweet dogs and if I could take them I would. Please contact me if you think you can help. Thanks so much In love and respect for all life, Cybrena* 831 426 4242 cybrena ===== ( " '- " -/ " ).___..- " " '-._ '6_ 6 ) '-. ( ).'-.__.') (_Y_.)' ._ ) '._ '.
