Guest guest
I am a Girl Scout Leader and take the Brownies camping, but hate the standard foods. They are not vegan (yet) but I want to feed them healthy foods and help them learn alternatives to standard junk. Can anyone give me more ideas or links please? We bring fresh fruit and veg. and granola bars, make gorp, eat pb & j. I am hoping for dinners and lunches. Hot meals on campstove or fire. Thanks for anything you can think of that has worked for you in the past. Kathy out in Indiana
Guest guest
Kathy, Here are some good ideas (I've been researching for our SFBA-Veg camping trip next month, can you tell?) http://www.vrg.org/journal/vj2001may/2001maybackpack.htm I'm also a big fan of those " boil in a bag " indian meals that are so common out here, although I imagine not so common in Indiana... Hope that helps, -Kim On Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at 06:37 AM, Kathy wrote: > I am a Girl Scout Leader and take the Brownies camping, but hate the > standard foods.
