Guest guest
KPIX ran a similar story last night. I think this is a series they are running, maybe all week. Last night it spoke about the living conditions of the animals, the stress they undergo. It contrasted this real life experience with the " Happy Cows " campaign. They gave it about five minutes--an eternity on the 11pm news. They touched on several aspects of the situation, but focused on the living conditions and how the " Happy Cows " campaign has been attributed with increasing sales of California cheese. They suggested that the cows pay a high price, and may live a sad life, for the cheese people are consuming. Tonight I think the focus is a bit different. I wish I had had the presence of mind to tape the bit last night. Sam
