BAN Veal and Gestation Crates

A bill to protect factory-farmed animals from cruel confinement systems is

up for a vote in the Assembly Agriculture Committee on Thursday (5/1), and

we need Californians to contact Ag Committee members NOW in support of the

legislation. AB 732 would ban the use of both veal crates for calves and

gestation crates for sows in factory farms. These crates are so tiny that

the animals are virtually immobilized for most of their entire lives—unable

to either lie down comfortably or even turn around.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Committee members and their contact info) and simply ask them to support AB

732 when it comes up for a vote on Thursday. You can also send a quick email

to the following committee email addresses, asking them to vote yes on AB
