It is nutritional yeast based and hmm hmm good. Best of all it comes dry so it does not spoil if unused. Check it out: http://www.chreese.com/ they are called " chreese packets " . The spicy nacho chreese dip is also a favorite of mine for dipping. Real Foods used to carry there products but since they have discontinued I have been buying them online.
