I always thought Oahu the worst place for a vegetarian. Been there several times and found it hard to find vegetarian food. Maui was the exception though. It had lots of veggie places. tony
Guest guest
I concur. I found " The Vegan " restaurant in Paia on Maui to be quite good, although visually it wasn't a very stimulating place at all. If you're on Maui and you're doin' Haleakala it's worth a stop. --Brian - Tony Martin sfBAVeg Friday, May 16, 2003 12:53 PM Re: [sfBAVeg] top 5 US veg friendly cities On Friday, May 16, 2003, at 09:21 AM, EBbrewpunx wrote: > http://www.utne.com/webwatch/2003_58/news/10554-1.html > > It surprised me to see Honolulu HA in the top five. Guest guest
I was really bummed that " The Vegan " was closed when we visited. However, we did find good vegan food plentiful and had a very enjoyable visit. :-) On Fri, 16 May 2003, Brian Jensen wrote: > I concur.
