Highlights include the Lyon Street steps, the Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, the Golden Gate Bridge and a sunset snack stop on Baker Beach. Bring: snacks and drinks to share Meet: 6:00 p.m. at the picnic tables in Julius Kahn Playground near the corner of Spruce and Pacific. Leader: Bob Gomez (510)644-0354; zorro. No RSVP required. Rain cancels, children welcome. Carpools: Rockridge BART - 5:00 p.m. (I think Bob will be there for sure, sorry I forgot check) Since this is a mixed crowded, 5% of the snacks might not be vegetarian. we just don' t eat them. (we are pros at this) Most folks know not to bring meat potlucks to an outdoors hike. ------ June 22, Sun - Intermediate Bike Ride - San Francisco to San Anselmo Art Festival Bike Ride Enjoy a ride along the S.F. Embarcadero, then over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. From there it's on to the Mill Valley Bikepath, over Camino Alto then on to San Anselmo for the annual art festival. Fun, food and great entertainment await at this Marin street fair. Bring: bike and rider in good shape, HELMET (required), extra tube, bike lock, gloves and water recommended. Meet: 9:30 a.m. by the Villancourt Fountain in Justin Herman Plaza at the end of Market Street. BART to the start of ride recommended. Return: 3:40 p.m. via Larkspur to S.F. ferry.
