Guest guest
It only takes about 5 - 10 minutes to make all 8 calls. Thanks! --------------------- Making 8 calls can have such an impact!! Senator Hollingsworth has been granted a special waiver in order to get SB233 heard in committee (regarding the sale of kangaroo, crocodile and alligator skins in the state of California). Members of the committee are in *major cities* such as San Diego, LA and Sacramento. The special hearing has been set for Tuesday, May 27 at 9:30am Room 112. In addition to this, the Fur Industry of the US has been launching a campaign in support of SB233 (can be seen at http://www.maninnature.com/SB233/). If you can attend the hearing on Tuesday in Sacramento, please contact Viva! at info or 530/759-8482. We need everyone in California who cares about animals to please call the committee members NOW and be sure to identify yourself if you are in their district. They sometimes do ask what city you are from or for a zipcode. State your name and that you are asking them to OPPOSE SB233.
