Support EarthSave, sample the new Millennium, and hear good news from one of

today s most influential, and inspiring women working for a more sustainable

planet.

 

Julia Butterfly Hill is the author of LEGACY OF LUNA and ONE MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Her efforts to save the redwood trees have captured the imagination and hearts

of countless people around the world.

 

EarthSave promotes food choices that are healthy for people and the planet. We

educate, inspire and empower people to take compassionate action for all life on

Earth.

 

This fun, informative, and inspiring, fundraising event is $25 per person if

paid in advance

GOOD OLD FASHIONED PICNIC GAMES & POTLUCK COMPETITION

Sunday June 1, 5:00-8:00 San Rafael Unitarian Church: Vegan Picnic

Come join us in the great Marin outdoors and have tons of fun. Join us Sunday,

June 1st from 5 to 8 PM.

 

Bring your best vegan picnic food and compete for entertaining and valuable

prizes. Awards will be given for most colorful dish, tastiest dish, most

creative dish and best picnic food. After our " picnic pot-luck " we will play

picnic games that guarantee

laughter. Patti & Stan are the games committee, so you know this will be a fun

and funny evening. Invite your friends: no lectures, no preaching, no speakers!

VegSource 2002 videos will be shown as an indoor activity!

 

The picnic we be held at The Unitarian Church located at 240 Channing Way in San

Rafael. Take Hwy. 101, exit at Freitas Pkwy (approx. 15 minutes north of the

Golden Gate bridge/5 minutes north of the Richmond Bridge). If northbound, veer

to your right then

turn left onto the frontage road, Redwood Hwy. If southbound, turn left, cross

the highway, turn left then go north on Redwood Hwy. Now turn right at the first

light onto Professional Center Pkwy. At the top of the hill, turn right onto

Channing Way. The

Please bring your favorite vegan dish (wether you choose to compete or not) to

serve 10, your own utensils, a cup and a plate.

 

The cost is $3 for members/$6 for non-members. To help support EarthSave and to

save money, please join us today. The cost to join is as follows: $20 for

seniors, students or those living lightly, $35 for individual and $50 for
