A short plea for support.

 

This Saturday, May 31st, the Berkeley High CAS/Mexico Exchange is

holding a vegetarian celebrity brunch with author Mollie Katzen of

Moosewood cookbook fame.

 

CAS is a small social justice school within Berkeley High. We are

raising scholarship money to send kids on a 1 month exchange to

Mexico this summer.

 

Mollie is running the kitchen (we're cooking from her recipes) and

will be on hand to hob-nob and sign cookbooks.

 

Sorry to enter your list with such a blatant plug but it is for a

good cause.

You can also hear more about it on KPFA, tomorrow morning, Thursday

the 29th, in the 8-8:30 AM slot
