Any events/dinners further NORTH of the bay? (was: dinner?)

It's great to see so many events being posted, and to see veg*ans coming

together, but disappointing to see that it only seems to be happening quite a

ways south of me! I would love to attend some of these dinners and other

events, but it just wouldn't be very economical for me, as I live 1.5 - 2 hours

north of SF. Are there any Sonoma County vegans on this list who would like to

meet up some time? Specifically any around the Santa Rosa area? If so, feel

free to respond to this or email me privately (I'm a 21 year old male vegan, in

case anyone was wondering).

 

There are a few people (including myself) signed up for a vegan meetup in Santa

Rosa on Sat June 7th at http://vegan.meetup.com though I think we still need a

few more people for it to actually happen (and the 'venues' to choose from

aren't very good ones at this point, but I did suggest more, so hopefully those

can be voted on soon).

 

I look forward to meeting other like-minded, compassionate individuals.
