Guest guest
Hi all, I am looking for some additional volunteers to help staff an educational/outreach booth at SF Pride on 6/28-29. If you're not familiar with SF Pride, it's one of the most well-known SF events, some say over a million people attend over the 2 days. It is a great opportunity to share the message for the animals! This year's theme is " You've Gotta Give Them Hope! " So let's do it!! We have got a prime spot directly across from the fair info booth, near the Asian Art Museum. We will be distributing information on factory farming (focusing on poultry), vegetarianism and possibly some cookie samples. The festival times are: Saturday 12-6 Sunday 12-7 If you can help for as little as two hours or all day, that'd be great! We need help during the times above or help before/after for set-up/takedown or ?? If you are familiar with SF Pride, I'd be interested in hearing your comments about whether attendees are likely to be interested in writing letters. We have some great sample letters to support VIVA's campaign to get Whole Foods to stop selling factory farmed duck meat from Grimaud. So come show off your Veg Pride @ SF Pride!
