Guest guest
Hello. The Christian Vegetarian Association is seeking volunteers to leaflet and distribute What Would Jesus Eat.Today? at upcoming Bay Area Christian events. It takes about an hour and is extremely efficient and effective. We have found that early everyone is polite and most are receptive. Volunteers need not be Christian. If interested please contact me at cva. Below is a brief summary of the CVA: The Christian Vegetarian Association is an international, non-denominational ministry that seeks to show Christian communities how a plant-based diet constitutes good, responsible stewardship of God's Creation and, therefore, honors God. A vegetarian diet avoids cruelty to animals, protects the earth and its resources, helps alleviate world hunger, and is good for our bodies, the " temple of the Holy Spirit. " We believe that the love, compassion, and peace of Christ encourage us to see all life choices, including diet, as a way to honor and glorify God. The CVA now distributes about 100,000 copies per year of the 16-page, color booklet What Would Jesus Eat....Today? at Christian events, outside churches, and at vegetarian information tables. The booklet, now available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, has answers to commonly asked questions, nutritional information, recipes, and lists of helpful veg. resources. We seek volunteers to help distribute our literature and extend our ministry. Please visit www.christianveg.com to review all our resources, and we welcome everyone to join for free. Peace.
