Most vegan cheeses (ie: those without casein) are disappointing to say

the least. :-)

There's a relatively good one from " Follow Your Heart " that you can get at

Rainbow - I posted a review recently:

follow your heart brand without a doubt -- it's vegan

(no casein!), it's delicious, and it melts. i actually

sat in front of my oven window the first time i put it

on a pizza and watched it bubble! :) exciting times.

:)

i have seen it only at rainbow grocery at this point.

Follow Your Heart " Cheddar " --offensive aroma, unpleasant texture, doesn't melt

(in a toaster oven, anyway), flavor passable.

But...it IS vegan! And I wouldn't buy it again.

This vegan cheese is the brand that's being used by Panhandle Pizza in

SF.... I can't remember who was asking me about this at Warren's VFP, but

this is the one that I was talking about!

Cheers,

Tammy
